Job summary

The Farmer’s Dog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Business Logic pod to own core systems powering subscriptions, pricing, billing, and orders. You’ll craft scalable architectures and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Analytics, and Lifecycle teams to deliver robust, customer‑centric experiences.

Qualifications

A strong background in building and operating production systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to decompose complex problems and own end-to-end features.
Experience with AI tools to improve development workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle of core systems like subscriptions, pricing, billing, and order generation.
Own architectural decisions and collaborate with multiple pods across Product, Design, Data Analytics, and Lifecycle Comms.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
Work in TypeScript, GraphQL, Temporal, Postgres, and AWS; advocate for reliability and scalability.
