Macy's, Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer in Johns Creek to design, develop, test, document, and maintain scalable applications and platforms. You will analyze data, make sound design decisions, and mentor junior developers while coordinating project deliverables for business stakeholders.

You will work with SQL and NoSQL data stores, Java or Python, and modern streaming technologies. Strong communication, ownership, and mentorship capabilities are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Strong experience with Java or Python.
• Knowledge of scalable web services and ESB.
• Experience with event or stream processing technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch).
• Strong data analysis and communication skills, able to mentor juniors.
• Ability to own projects, coordinate deliverables, and present technical solutions to stakeholders.
