Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a software developer in Johnston, Iowa to develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems. You will support onboarding and implementation of new features within call center software platforms and collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship or project experience in software development preferred.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, test, debug, and maintain software applications and systems.
• Support onboarding and implementation of new features within call center software platforms.

• Design and implement software enhancements to improve application performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Provide internal user support and troubleshoot application issues.
• Assist with application, server, and database maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and development artifacts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform data analysis and generate reports as required.
• Follow software development best practices and coding standards.
