Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to partner with engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will transform ideas into scalable applications using Ruby/Java/Kotlin and cloud-native microservices, with a focus on Reacting to patient-facing experiences. Ideal candidates have 6+ years building consumer-facing products, experience in Docker/Kubernetes, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building large consumer-facing products using Ruby or Java/Kotlin.
• Experience working in a distributed, cloud-based environment either in Azure/AWS using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Experience with unit & integration testing.
• Experience in building cloud native scalable Microservices
• Experience working with MongoDb or PostgreSQL
• Experience working in an Agile/Devops environment
• US work authorization
