Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of cloud-native, microservices-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital, Data & Analytics, and Platform Engineering to shape technical direction and drive innovation.
The role requires hands-on leadership across the full software lifecycle, with strong emphasis on modern tech stacks, AWS, and AI-enabled applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably AWS.
- Design, development, and deployment of microservices-based apps.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch, MongoDB.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- RESTful APIs development with Express.
- Familiarity with AI technologies in software dev.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development and implementation of digital solutions.
- Architect cloud-native microservices with event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with Digital, Data & Analytics and Platform Engineering.
- Mentor peers and partner with architects and product teams.
- Own full software lifecycle from design to deployment and operations.
