Job summary

Omnissa LLC in Mountain View, CA or Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop architecture components for the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform. You will leverage AWS technologies, drive architecture initiatives, and own engineering outcomes with a focus on security and code quality.

You will work with Java and Spring, microservices, and modern DevOps practices, participating in all phases of software development and contributing to API design and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with cloud services
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework
• Experience with microservice architectures and high-scale systems
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS, OpenSearch)
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and development of architecture components.
• Participate in all phases of software development, including requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Support peers with code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights.
• Drive API excellence with opinions on API design (e.g., versioning, REST vs GraphQL, performance).
• Support the team’s on-call responsibilities and seek efficiency improvements.
