Job summary

Omnissa seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop architecture components on the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform using AWS technologies and open-source components. You will own engineering initiatives, foster ownership, and maintain high code quality, security, and developer productivity.

The role emphasizes modern tooling, AI-assisted development, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a hybrid setup, with locations in Mountain View, CA or Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, architecting and designing cloud services.
• Proficient in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with microservice architectures and high-performance, scalable systems.
• Proficient with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS, OpenSearch).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor or Claude Code).
• AI-driven or MCP-enabled automation and developer workflow experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and continuous learning mindset.
• Familiar with DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes; Git, Jira, Jenkins.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and development of architecture components across the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform.
• Participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, and performance tuning phases.
• Support peers with code and design reviews and provide technical insights.
• Drive API excellence with thoughtful API design decisions (REST vs GraphQL, versioning, performance).
