Job summary

Omnissa is seeking a Staff Engineer to help architect and evolve the Horizon Cloud Services Next Gen platform. You will own end-to-end design, mentor engineers, and work with a globally distributed team across the US and India to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native services.

Location: Mountain View, CA; hybrid work arrangement. The role emphasizes AI-driven productivity, security, and performance, with opportunities to shape platform architecture and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multithreaded, distributed application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect subsystems and set the technical vision for the platform.
• Lead cross-team design and delivery of complex features end-to-end.
• Mentor engineers and enforce best practices for performance, security, and operability.
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into a road map.
• Apply AI expertise to drive productivity improvements and innovative solutions.
