Job summary

AQR in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced software engineer to own impactful implementations and drive large, ambiguous initiatives from concept through delivery.

You will build scalable, AWS-based storage and computing infrastructure, a generalized research platform, and pipelines for model computation and ML/NLP.

Ideal candidates hold a CS/Engineering degree, 7+ years in production software, AWS/cloud-native experience, and strong Python with Linux and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Experience designing and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Strong Python, plus optional C++ experience.
