Job summary

PsiQuantum's Applications Software Engineering Team (ASET) is seeking a platform engineer to own the infrastructure and pipelines, spanning AWS, Terraform configurations, and CI/CD workflows, to empower quantum researchers building novel algorithms.

You will shape deployment pipelines, harden security and access controls, and collaborate with platform engineers across PsiQuantum, including HPC/GPU resources, to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure for cutting-edge experiments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Production AWS experience with ECS/EKS, VPCs, and security groups.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK in production.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure end-to-end and evolve it.
• Reduce deployment friction to speed shipping.
• Harden IAM, container images, and authentication flows.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to leverage HPC/GPU resources.
• Make deployments faster to roll back and less prone to failure.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems.
