Litera is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Denver, CO, a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least 3 days a week. You will contribute to the Kira platform, delivering scalable SaaS solutions, improving performance, reliability, and platform innovation across a modern tech stack.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven professional software development experience with Clojure or Lisp-family language.
• Strong understanding of scalable SaaS application development and modern architecture.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience (PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication within distributed teams.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

• Proven professional software development experience using Clojure or a similar Lisp-family language

• Strong understanding of scalable SaaS application development and modern software architecture

• Solid SQL and relational database experience, including PostgreSQL

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and engineering best practices

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed, cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with ClojureScript

• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, or similar technologies

Pay Transparency for Colorado Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
