Job summary

Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, is seeking a SMTS Software Development Engineer to architect and develop highly complex OS-level software, compiler toolchains, and enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms supporting ASIC and layout design. You will lead automation frameworks for distributed compute clusters and secure software supply chains.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in related engineering roles, or six (6) years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with large-scale software build environments and automation pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python; strong debugging and profiling skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop complex OS-level software, compiler toolchains, and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Lead or mentor a team of developers; drive scalable, fault-tolerant build and release ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with silicon roadmaps and manufacturing needs.
