General Motors Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Battery State Estimation at the Milford Proving Ground. You will design, implement, verify, and evolve SOC/SOH/SOP estimation algorithms for next‑gen high‑voltage battery platforms, owning end‑to‑end development in a hybrid SDV environment.

You will lead model‑based and virtual‑validation‑first development, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive quality through MIL/SIL/HIL verification and automated CI pipelines.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/CS field required.
• Minimum 5 years of embedded software experience for high‑voltage battery systems or similar.
• Strong C/C++ proficiency for embedded development.
• Hands‑on experience with SOC/SOH/SOP estimation deployed in vehicles.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and Python; Model‑Based Development workflows.
• Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL verification in automotive programs.
• Agile/Scrum experience and cross‑functional collaboration.
