Build and operate a versioned external booking API, evolving the Rails and Postgres booking platform to support pricing, availability, holds, bookings, changes, and cancellations. Establish reusable integration and reliability patterns for partners, lead domain and data-model improvements, and ensure booking operations remain correct through retries, failures, and reconciliation.

Requirements:

Candidates should have at least six years of software engineering experience or equivalent impact, with experience designing transactional systems, external APIs or integration platforms, and production data-model changes. They should understand relational modeling, concurrency, consistency, asynchronous workflows, and distributed failures, and be able to lead hands-on delivery while collaborating and communicating effectively.
