Job summary

Helion is seeking a senior software engineer to join an agile team building scalable enterprise applications on Azure. You will own architectural decisions, drive implementation in C#/.NET, SQL Server, and modern frontend with TypeScript/React, while collaborating across product and operations.

You will design specifications, review code, mentor peers, and ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or closely related field.
• 5 years in design/analysis of algorithms, data structures, and scalable systems.
• 5 years in at least one modern language with experience in two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and write engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code that adheres to standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and assist in sprint planning and execution.
• Drive story creation with DoD, acceptance criteria, estimation and task updates in RTC/Jira.
• Mentor other engineers as needed.
