Job summary

Helion is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, primarily using C# with .NET, EF Core and SQL Server on Azure, alongside TypeScript, React, Terraform, xUnit and Playwright.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 5 years in design/analysis of algorithms and scalable systems.
• 5+ years in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and familiarity with two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud platforms.
• 5+ years with REST/HTTPS/JSON web services.
• 5+ years with one or more general purpose languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
• 5 years defining system architectures and trade-offs for long-term capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and write code that adheres to coding standards; perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas and implement technical solutions while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
• Create and manage tasks for stories in RTC or Jira and keep status updated.
• Monitor progress and report issues to lead developers regularly.
• Mentor junior to intermediate engineers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
