Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Morrisville, NC, with deep expertise in .NET, JavaScript frameworks, and Azure-based microservices architectures. This on-site contract-to-hire role requires presence in Raleigh three days per week.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development, strong cloud experience on Azure or AWS, and proficiency with CI/CD, microservices, and modern JS frameworks like Angular/React.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years in a senior engineering role focused on .NET and JavaScript.
• Cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS with Blob Storage familiarity.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and system architecture skills (React, Angular, TypeScript, ASP.NET Web Forms).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, Agile, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and React to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Provide architectural direction and technical leadership on complex initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives and set technical standards.
• Analyze system performance and implement optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
