Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks a Software Engineer in Aguadilla, PR to join an Agile development team building a reusable environment for automated testing and hardware-in-the-loop systems.

You will design modular C# software, integrate with test hardware, and develop automated test sequences. Collaboration with EE/RF teams, troubleshooting, and documentation are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• C# development experience with OO design and dynamic libraries.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and software debugging methods.
• Experience with NI TestStand for test sequence development.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering concepts and hardware interaction.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
• Strong English communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsabilités

• Work in an Agile/Scrum team designing and supporting software for automated test stations.
• Develop modular C# applications and libraries interfacing with test hardware and embedded systems.
• Implement test sequences with NI TestStand and integrate with instruments and interfaces.
• Program and control test instruments using SCPI and related commands.
• Interface with JTAG, I2C, Ethernet, SSH, and gRPC protocols.
• Collaborate with electrical, RF and systems engineers on hardware/software integration.
• Debug hardware/software interactions and maintain test stations.
• Create and maintain documentation, interface specs and automated workflows.
• Provide on-site and remote support for development labs and station upgrades.
