Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is recruiting on behalf of an established organization in Oak Brook, Illinois, for a Senior Software Developer on a 12-month contract. You will build and evolve critical business applications using C#, .NET Core, Angular, Azure, and SQL Server, shaping architecture and mentoring teams.

You will lead initiatives, review architectures, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive performance, security, and DevOps practices while collaborating with stakeholders and QA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Strong expertise with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience developing enterprise applications.
• Advanced Angular development experience.
• Microsoft Azure cloud experience.
• SQL Server and database design expertise.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Agile development experience.
• Source control and DevOps best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support enterprise software applications
• Lead development initiatives from concept through deployment
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, analysts, and QA teams
• Review architecture and provide technical recommendations
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Conduct code reviews and establish development best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
• Improve application performance, scalability, and security
• Support production deployments and change management processes
