Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a seasoned Software Architect to lead integration, API design, and end-to-end solutions from our Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires collaboration across product and business teams and a hybrid schedule with in-office Tue–Thu.

You will mentor teams, set engineering standards, and drive secure, scalable architectures that align with business goals while adhering to cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development and integration, with API management focus.
• Experience with enterprise integration and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#/Java/Python; Node.js knowledge a plus.
• Cloud familiarity, especially Microsoft Azure; Terraform or Serverless a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging patterns.
• Ability to design scalable, secure architectures and mentor teams.
• Strong documentation, testing, and incident management skills.
