Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a seasoned software engineer for our HR Solutions Engineering team, building an AI-First SaaS Learning Management solution. You will design, implement, and validate features using Python and React, shape architecture, and advance CICD with AI agents to deliver secure, scalable software for our clients.

You’ll collaborate across product and engineering to decompose tasks, review code, mentor teammates, and participate in on-call incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, data science, CS, or IS.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience developing SaaS applications.
• Experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Devin.ai, or Codex.
• Proficient in Python, React, and AWS.
• Sormi experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Authoring code for features using Python/React.
• System design and task decomposition into modular engineering tasks.
• Code review and validation for quality, security, and scale.
• Architectural oversight to ensure modular designs.
• Develop and optimize CICD pipelines with AI agents.
• Design AI-oriented prompts and specifications for accurate output.
• Contribute to domain models, technical docs, and internal knowledge bases.
• Serve in an on-call rotation and react to production issues.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve complex problems.
• Write secure code and prevent OWASP vulnerabilities.
