Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to guide the technical direction of the Catalog & Events services in Workshop Studio. You will help evolve a multi-tenant platform, design integration APIs, and drive agentic AI features that enhance content discovery and post-event insights.

You will mentor a team of backend and frontend engineers, lead architecture discussions, and ensure production health through on-call rotations and incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 5+ years of design or architecture leadership for large systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction of Catalog & Events services for Workshop Studio.
• Mentor backend/frontend engineers and lead architectural reviews.
• Own production health, on-call rotations, incident response and runbooks.
