Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer for Workshop Studio to drive the technical direction of the Content Catalog and Events services, building AI-powered capabilities and multi-tenant APIs that enable scalable sandbox environments.

You will mentor backend and frontend engineers, lead design reviews, own production health through on-call rotations, and help the team scale as Workshop Studio evolves into an AI-native platform across AWS products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and mentor a team of backend and frontend engineers
• Own production health through on-call rotations, incident response, retrospective reviews and runbook maintenance
• Design multi-tenant content management with per-partner isolation and lifecycle tooling
• Develop agentic AI systems for content discovery, guidance and summaries
