Job summary

Flexion, a leader in robotics autonomy, is seeking a Software Engineer for its experienced infrastructure team. You will build platforms, tooling, and deployment infrastructure for Flexion's AI stack, owning projects end-to-end with cross-functional collaboration.

The role involves expanding internal deployment tooling, customer-facing platforms, and AI tooling, with senior-level ownership and influence across teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language (C++, Go, Rust).
• Strong software architecture, modular design, scalable systems.
• Experience with production backend systems: APIs, cloud infra and databases.
• Solid software practices: testing, code reviews, documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling and platforms for deployment across robots and real-world deployments.
• Lead projects end-to-end from scoping to ownership.
• Shape architecture decisions through design reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with research, robotics, and deployment teams to translate needs into reliable platforms.
• Improve engineering practices, testing, and system reliability.
• Contribute to AI development tooling and internal tooling.
