Job summary

Auth0 seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Agentic Experience team at Auth0. The role focuses on building secure, identity-powered AI infrastructure and tooling for developers and AI agents.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, and security to deliver scalable solutions, contribute to open source, and mentor peers while shaping the future of AI-enabled authentication and authorization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building tools or platforms for developers.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Go and/or Python.
• Experience with LLM APIs, agent runtimes, orchestration layers, or prompt pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer tooling to secure and manage infrastructure.
• Build demo applications to showcase secure, identity-powered AI use cases.
• Contribute to Open Source projects within Auth0 and the broader AI+identity ecosystem.
• Write and maintain high-quality API references and documentation for developers.
• Drive integration with emerging AI frameworks by creating adapters and interfaces.
• Collaborate with design, product, and security teams to align on needs and roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering standards and architectural decisions.
• Ensure resilience and security of agent-to-agent or model-to-service communications.
