Okta’s Auth0 team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Agentic Experience group. You will build infrastructure, tooling, and developer experiences that empower human developers and AI agents to create secure, intelligent apps.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, product and security, mentor peers, and help shape standards while delivering resilient, secure systems for agent-to-agent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building developer tools.
• Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Python.
• Experience with LLM APIs and agent runtimes.
• Familiar with OAuth2, OIDC and JWT.
• Proven track record leading architecture and design for production systems.
• Open source contributions and strong documentation mindset.
• Able to collaborate across product, design and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer tooling to secure infrastructure like MCP servers.
• Build demo applications showcasing secure, identity-powered AI use cases.
• Contribute to open source projects and engage with developer communities.
• Write and maintain API references, quickstarts and best practices.
• Drive integration with emerging AI frameworks and adapters.
• Collaborate with design, product and security teams on roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and promote code quality and architectural thinking.
• Influence engineering standards with design discussions and decisions.
• Ensure resilience and security of agent-to-agent and model-to-service communications.
