Hint Health is seeking a strong Software Engineer to join our Core product team to work closely with engineers and product management. The role emphasizes building scalable software and enhancing AI-driven processes while improving collaboration and code quality.

This remote position requires residing in Uruguay, Costa Rica or Mexico, with overlapping US business hours. 5+ years in software, SaaS experience, and a passion for healthcare tech are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years in a product-focused company.
• Proven track record of developing and shipping software, SaaS is a plus.
• Experience with large, complex systems; Ruby on Rails is a huge plus.
• Experience with AI tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full stack development of the Hint Core product.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions with product management.
• Create, enhance and adapt AI processes to accelerate development.
• Improve tools, workflows, and collaboration across teams.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to technical design documentation.
• Identify changes to help systems scale and performance.
