Job summary

Storm2 in Chicago is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer (4+ years) to build an AI-powered SaaS platform for payments and business management. Hybrid role requiring three in-office days per week in Chicago.

You will own significant product areas, report to the CTO, and shape architecture and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong TypeScript experience in Next.js/React, startup experience, and knowledge of payments/Accounting tech, plus a track record of leveraging AI to accelerate

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in a full stack position.
• Strong experience with Typescript (Next.js, React).
• Previous experience at an early-stage start-up.
• Experience with payments and accounting technology is strongly preferred.
• Actively using AI tools to work quicker and experience integrating AI into product workflows.

Senior Full Stack Engineer (4+ YoE – Typescript)

Chicago-based Payments Start-up

$150,000 – $210,000 Base + Equity + Full Benefits

A recently funded Series A fintech start-up based in Chicago is looking to hire a senior software engineer (full stack) to help build an AI-powered SaaS platform for payments and business management. They are looking to disrupt the $100B+ rental industry by building an end-to-end product that will help businesses improve and facilitate their payments, operations, marketing and accounting processes.

This role would allow you to have a great impact on the company by making business-minded decisions and providing you with full ownership of the products and features you will be building. You will report directly to the CTO and will be part of a sociable team, focused on collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone willing to work hybrid, 3 days a week in Chicago, with strong full stack experience and previous success in an early-stage start-up environment.
