Storm2 is partnering with a Series A fintech to hire a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own and lead core web products. You will contribute as an individual contributor and team leader, shaping architecture and delivering scalable features for a debt markets platform using AI-driven approaches.

We’re seeking 5+ years of software engineering, strong React/TypeScript/Next.js/Node.js skills, and hands-on AI/ML experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Strong full-stack skills in React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js.
• Excellent communication; translate AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have Web3 frontend (Wagmi/Viem), crypto/DeFi or finance experience; LLMs & prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development as individual contributor and team lead.
• Lead back-end workstreams including API integrations.
• Evolve architecture for scalable, secure lending platform.
• Drive AI strategy across product, operations, and customer interactions.
• Build trustworthy UIs with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Partner with founders to translate protocol goals into a roadmap.

About The Client

I’ve partnered with a series A fintech whohave raised $24M+ and are looking to add to their high performing engineering team. They are building debt markets for AI compute by financing GPU clusters and AI infrastructure operators using a blockchain-based lending protocol rather than traditional banking channels.

The Role

The Senior Fullstack Engineerrole requires someone who’s excited to act both as an individual contributor and as a team leader for our front-end developer group. This person will bring high-level structure to their code base, deploy AI across the organization, and guide peers to build the next generation of financial technology. You will gain ownership over their existing suite of web products, as well as the ability to influence the creation, design, and execution of future products.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack implementation: Own end to end development of core products as both individual contributor and team leader.
• Lead back-end workstreams including integration of partner APIs.
• Evolve technical architecture: Make foundational decisions on system design, data modeling, API architecture, and third-party integrations to support a scalable, secure lending platform.
• Drive company-wide AI strategy: Identify and execute opportunities to integrate AI across their product suite, operations, and customer interactions.
• Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces using tools like React, Typescript, Next.js, etc.
• Shape and own product roadmap: Partner with founders to translate protocol capabilities and business objectives into a prioritized engineering roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and applied tools.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience in their tech stack (React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js) or similar modern web frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have: Experience with Web3 frontend stack (Wagmi/Viem, smart contract interaction), crypto/DeFi, or financial services. Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic systems.
