Job summary

LightSpun is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build core platform services. You will own features end-to-end, from design through production operation, across claims adjudication, credentialing, and provider data.

You will work in a remote-first environment with teammates across the US and Bengaluru, driving microservices adoption and agentic-AI architectures while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservices in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python. Experience in Golang is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and building compliant systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate services and features from design to production monitoring.
• Technical Quality: Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and improve tooling and reviews.
• Architecture Contribution: Help with scalability, reliability, and security across microservices and HITRUST/SOC 2/HIPAA compliance.
• AI-First Development: Integrate agentic-AI capabilities into production workflows with appropriate guardrails.
