Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (EAA) to join the Compliance CXAE team, building AI-first surfaces and tools that streamline compliance processes and boost agent productivity.

You'll develop end-to-end features in Golang and React on cloud infrastructure, integrate third-party tools, and drive cross-functional delivery with product, design, security, and data teams. This role emphasizes reliability for Tier-1 systems, mentoring, and scalable architecture to support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering large-scale systems with Golang and React.
• Experience shipping user-facing features on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, BuildKite).
• Experience with third-party vendor integrations and operational management.
• Proven track record building high-traffic platforms with caching, load balancing, and distributed debugging.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ), and service communication patterns (gRPC, GraphQL, ETL).

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end user-facing features using Golang, React, and cloud technologies.
• Lead assessment and integration of third-party tools and vendor integrations into the compliance agent experience platform.
• Drive cross-functional delivery of complex technical solutions with product, design, security, data, and peer engineering teams.
• Architect platform improvements delivering reusable capabilities across teams.
• Own reliability for Tier-1 compliance systems and mentor engineers in full-stack design, testing, release, and observability.
