Job summary

The Senior Software Engineer at Royal Caribbean Group designs, develops, tests, and maintains enterprise web applications using a modern .NET Core + React stack. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, AI-assisted development, and mentorship of other engineers.

The position is onsite in Miami, Florida, full-time, reporting to the Senior Manager, Database Systems Development, with responsibility for SDLC, CI/CD, and cloud deployments across Azure and/or AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of enterprise/web application development.
• Hands-on with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API.
• Strong SQL Server skills; NoSQL familiarity helpful.
• Experience building data-driven web UIs backed by REST APIs.
• Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and modernization of modules using C#/.NET Core and React/TypeScript.
• Mentor engineers and provide guidance on high-quality code and architecture.
• Oversee deployment across Dev→Stage→Prod with CI/CD in Azure/AWS.
• Lead design/code reviews and leverage AI-powered tooling.
• Collaborate with PMs/Architects to refine requirements and plans.
• Manage performance and security across the stack and cloud infra.
