Job summary

Nexxen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its SSP team in Bellevue, WA. You will own complex initiatives end‑to‑end, building high‑throughput, low‑latency services that process billions of ad events daily, while integrating with DSPs/SSPs and OpenRTB or VAST standards.

You will apply an AI‑first mindset to software development and data exploration, mentor colleagues, and raise the bar on performance, scalability, and reliability through code reviews and tooling decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expert‑level JavaScript/Node backend experience.
• Strong grounding in distributed systems, scaling, caching, and fault tolerance.
• AdTech industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own complex initiatives end‑to‑end: design, implementation, integration, rollout, and operation.
• Build high‑throughput, low‑latency services with efficient caching and in‑memory stores.
• Integrate with DSPs, SSPs, third‑party data providers, and standards such as OpenRTB and VAST.
• Drive test, monitoring, and automation coverage to ensure reliability and scalability.
