Nexxen International is hiring for a backend-focused engineer to join our real-time ad exchange. You will work on the Node.js bidder, the throttling layer, and the data pipeline that feeds analytics and ML models.

You will reason about production code, performance, and correctness while applying gradient-boosted ML insights to live decision rules. A strong generalist mindset helps you thrive in a fast, curious environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in at least one backend programming language and distributed systems.
• Fluent in SQL or eager to become fluent and work with large datasets.
• Experience with AdTech / RTB, real-time or low-latency systems, columnar databases, A/B testing, or ML tooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on the real-time bidder (Node.js) and latency-sensitive throttling layer.
• Build the analytics bridge that aggregates traffic performance.
• Handle data at scale: SQL over billions of bid requests and impressions.
• Apply machine learning to rank features and derive real-time rules for the bidder.
