Job summary

Archipelago Companies seeks a Sr. Software Engineer, AI Enablement to build the AI backbone for OluKai, Melin, Roark, and Tradewind Services. You will write code, ship infrastructure, and guide non-technical teams to adopt AI in daily workflows across multiple brands.

This in-office hybrid role requires four days in Irvine, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. You will design connectors, data pipelines, and tools, and help secure AI-enabled data across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go or similar languages.
• Experience building integrations and APIs.
• Comfort working with AI/LLM tooling and applying AI in practice.
• Experience building internal tools or connectors to multiple SaaS platforms.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Train users across departments and brands on AI tools and workflows.
• Design and build core AI infrastructure: connectors, internal apps, and integrations.
• Wire up automated workflows connecting AI to data sources and systems.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations for AI use cases.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and turn them into tools.
• Evaluate emerging AI models and platforms and recommend adoption.
• Establish security and data governance for AI tools touching company data.
• Track adoption and report impact across teams.
• Document systems and workflows for long-term maintainability.
