Job summary

Archipelago Companies is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, AI Enablement in Irvine, CA. This hybrid role combines building AI infrastructure—connectors, internal tools, and integrations—with hands-on training for non-technical teams.

You will work across brands to identify high-value AI opportunities, evaluate models, and ensure secure data practices while driving adoption and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go or similar languages.
• Strong in building integrations and APIs.
• Comfort with AI/LLM tooling and applied AI.

Responsibilities

• Train users across departments on AI tools and workflows.
• Design and build core AI infrastructure: connectors, internal apps, integrations.
• Wire up automated workflows linking AI to data sources and systems.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations for AI use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across brands to identify AI opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging AI models and tools and recommend adoption.
• Establish security and data-governance practices for AI tools.
• Track adoption and report impact across teams.
• Document systems and workflows for maintainability.
