Yahoo Mail AntiSpam and Delivery Engineering is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and operate high-concurrency distributed systems. You will work on spam detection, entity reputation, and email delivery pipelines with a focus on AI-assisted tooling and modern cloud-native practices.

Lead architecture and mentoring across a squad, champion CI/CD and robust testing, and push for resilient, scalable production systems in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java, Go, or C++ (depth in Java preferred).
• 2+ years designing, owning, and operating components of large-scale distributed server apps.
• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor).
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OS, and networking.
• Experience building cloud-native apps with CI/CD automation (GCP/AWS).
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor peers.
