Yahoo Mail AntiSpam Engineering is seeking engineers to help build and operate systems that protect users from spam and abuse while delivering billions of messages daily.

You will join the AntiSpam and Delivery team and work with minimal guidance, reviewing code, designing robust components, and deploying to production. Strong Java/Go/C++ backend skills and cloud/container experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of backend software development experience in Java, Go, or C++.
• Strong cloud and container experience (GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and large-scale systems.

Aufgaben

• Build and operate distributed systems for inbound protection, entity reputation, traffic shaping, and message delivery.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow, validating outputs.
• Translate requirements into readable, testable code and deploy to production.
• Troubleshoot failures and tune performance of high-throughput services.
• Review peers' code and contribute to design and estimation.
