Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
• 8+ years of software design and development experience
• Strong full-stack capabilities across backend services, APIs, and frontend
• Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React
• Experience leading cross-team projects from inception to rollout
• Experience building AI-powered or data-driven products
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technically complex, mission-critical areas
• Define and drive technical strategy for new products and platform capabilities
• Design and ship full-stack features end to end across backend, frontend, and possibly mobile
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer-facing teams to translate problems into technical plans
• Build and scale systems behind AI-driven products and data ingestion pipelines
• Mentor engineers through reviews and design discussions
• Uphold Samsara’s cultural principles and drive impact across teams
