SkySpecs is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of their Horizon platform, which powers wind and solar inspection and asset management. You will engage in hands-on software development across various layers of the tech stack.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in producing, shipping, and operating software, along with strong fundamentals in software engineering. This role allows for remote work or can be situated in the Ann Arbor headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in roles where you wrote, shipped, and operated production software.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to independently drive work from requirements through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers and customers to understand requirements.
• Build and ship software, including APIs and user experiences.
• Improve engineering systems and documentation.
