Job summary

Urban Science is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full-stack development skills to play a key role in building multi-tenant micro-services. The role leverages .NET, SQL Server, and Angular, with hybrid workplace flexibility and in-person requirements two days per week at the Detroit office.

Ideal candidates will lead design discussions, deliver high-quality software, and mentor fellow engineers within an Agile environment, using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Visual Studio to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
• Frontend/backend integration and cloud/AI awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in design discussions and code reviews.
• Develop, test, and maintain multi-tenant micro-services.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with UX designers.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of software.
