Job summary

KBX, a Koch company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable AI-enabled software for freight management. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business partners to turn complex problems into production-ready solutions.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive performance, reliability, and observability across services.

Qualifications

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software using .NET and related frameworks.
Strong full‑stack development with backend services, APIs, integrations, and data access patterns.
Experience building user-facing features with modern frontend frameworks.
Experience designing APIs, integrations, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience leading technical activities including code reviews, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting.
Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack software applications and services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across backend and frontend components.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions to uphold standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
Improve application performance, scalability, and observability.
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain existing applications.
