Job summary

KBX, a Koch company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable AI-powered software for transportation and logistics platforms. This role emphasizes ownership, modern engineering practices, and collaboration across product, engineering, and business partners.

You will contribute to AI-enabled discovery, design, coding, testing, and documentation while mentoring other engineers and improving system observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered development tools and agentic systems.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining .NET apps.
• Strong full‑stack development with backend APIs and front‑end features.
• Experience using modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, and data access patterns.
• Experience supporting apps through full SDLC and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring other engineers and leading technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted and agentic engineering methods across discovery to production while ensuring quality, security, and supportability.
• Collaborate with product managers, owners, leads, and stakeholders to clarify problems and deliver outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack software across backend and client components.
• Develop complex backend services, APIs, integrations, and core system features.
• Participate in architecture discussions, tech strategy, code reviews, and design decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers to resolve challenging problems.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and observability of applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain existing applications.
• Document code, designs, decisions, and engineering processes.
• Share reusable patterns and practices to accelerate velocity and quality.
