Job summary

YipitData is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to own features across its product portfolio, from the Public Investor platform to AI-powered insights tools. You will ship production-grade software, identify opportunities, and drive improvements in systems and processes.

You’ll work in a fast-moving team, comfortable with ambiguity, and leverage AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery. This remote-friendly role can sit in NYC or anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on software development experience shipping customer-facing apps.
Ability to work across Python, TypeScript/React, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience using AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
Proven ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own features and systems end-to-end across multiple product surfaces.
Design clean, scalable systems and maintainable code.
Collaborate with engineering, product, data, revenue, and customers to translate problems into shipped software.
Drive initiatives across teams and shape what gets built.
Use AI tools daily for implementation, code review, testing, and docs.
Operate across backend, frontend, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
Raise the bar for engineering through tooling and knowledge sharing.
