Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the HRS Platform Team in San Francisco. You will code, test, and deploy AI-driven features, integrating agentic tools to raise velocity and software quality.

This role emphasizes design, documentation, and collaboration across engineering squads. You will work with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, and MiSop within a Web + AI enterprise product stack, delivering production-ready services with secure authentication and scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a software development/engineer role.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools in daily workflow.
• Familiar with REST API design and implementation and web services.
• Strong understanding of authentication and security protocols (OAuth2/OIDC).
• Proficient with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD.
• Experience with SQL, ORM frameworks, and Git.
• Fluent in building observable, scalable features with AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and implement software for a Web + AI-based enterprise app.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily engineering work.
• Collaborate with teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Perform unit, automation, and peer testing; document work.
• Lead or co-lead design efforts and propose refactor opportunities.
