Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for Developer Productivity, AI, Test and Simulation. You will design and implement backend services on the AWS stack, ensuring high availability and scalable deployment for satellite software distribution and operations.

You will contribute across requirements, design, implementation and testing, mentoring teams and leading architectural decisions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong AI tooling experience is valued.

Qualifications

8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Understand AWS stack - IAM, Lambdas, CloudWatch, API gateways, Fine grained access control.
Understand automation, monitoring and operational excellence.
AWS Permissions and IAM roles, Authorization and authentication.
Know S3 storage patterns.
Should have built large scale infra services.
Have a strong security mindset.
