Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development with production systems ownership.
• Strong backend proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Rust and distributed systems experience.
• Experience designing RESTful or gRPC services and cloud deployments.
• Solid CI/CD and modern software delivery workflow knowledge.
• AI-first approach to engineering and familiarity with AI tools in development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs with reliability and scalability.
• Make architectural tradeoffs on evolving requirements and complex systems.
• Write well-tested code and maintain observable systems in production.
• Design data models and storage for scalable growth and integrations.
• Instrument services with logs, metrics, and tracing for quick incident response.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and raise engineering quality across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for owned systems.
• Push AI-integrated, secure, production-grade software using modern tooling.
• Orchestrate AI agents within human workflows to drive efficiency at scale.
• Evaluate and maintain system context and standards for AI reliability.
