re-zoo-me is seeking a software engineer in the St. Louis area for a hybrid role. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based solutions, covering both backend and frontend, aligned with enterprise needs.

Focus areas include Java/J2EE/Spring, Angular/React, REST/SOAP APIs, cloud-native architectures on AWS or similar, and DevOps with Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD. You will leverage GenAI tools to boost productivity, participate in code reviews, and help evolve our technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to design, development, and delivery of software aligned with business needs.
• Participates in code reviews and provides feedback to uphold quality standards.
• Assists in designing, developing, and delivering software with oversight.
• Creates and maintains technical artifacts such as requirements documents and test plans.
• Supports production systems, including incident management and root cause analysis, under supervision.
• Assists in evaluating emerging technologies and PoC efforts.
• Contributes to solution roadmaps and strategic planning.
