Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking an experienced Java-focused software engineer to join our team in the United States. You will participate in all phases of the lifecycle, develop enterprise applications with Java and modern web technologies, and implement unit tests while supporting CI/CD and DevOps.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and performance best practices, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and leverage AWS services throughout cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application development and/or Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to maintenance.
• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, debugging, and implement unit tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes, assisting with Help Desk troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and performance best practices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, and cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
