re-zoo-me in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help evolve a cloud-native platform and microservices architecture. You’ll work on scalable systems that support mission-critical operations across North America.

You will design, build, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices, deploy to Kubernetes/OpenShift, and provide technical leadership. You’ll improve observability, monitoring, and CI/CD practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java development and SQL.
• 5+ years building and supporting microservices using Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms, ideally OpenShift.
• Experience building and scaling distributed, cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and best engineering practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
